If he's talking about exclusives, then inFamous 1 & 2 would apply here
Oh so you can drive/fly vehicles in infamous, and infamous looks as good as halo huh?

Uncharted 3 has co-op and split screen gameplay. :stopitslime:
Levels made specifically for co-op is not the same as being able to play the entire game with 4 people. But you already knew that.
Dynamic explosions?? You just pulled that one out your rear end huh? :heh:

It's much easier to render things that the player has no control over. But you already knew that too.

I wasn't comparing the two. I'm talking about this idea that because something is possible, it will come to friction :skip:

Then in no way did you correctly comprehend my post, and it had nothing to do with the typo.

Daze is just trolling with quasi-semantics angles just cause. K.I.M. with him. Anyone that didn't know otherwise would think Meech was trolling cept that everyone knows that he seemingly 100% believes all of the bullshyt that he types. Can't say I know why though.

So you think the devs are lying too? :stopitslime:

The "parity clause" is another concept made up by Sony stans. It's just not ture.

don't worry, we can make up our own too:

Sony paid all the M$ dev's to not make a game that looks as good as TLOU. we don't know the details of the PS3 parity clause, and it's based on rumors. but if it's possible, it must have happened

Exactly. We got people in here saying "despite what the devs have said" and referencing some phantom easily disprovable policies and dapping each other up

But I give very real and direct evidence, but somehow I'm the one making things up.

Sony stans:heh:

It's not a case of going out of there way to avoid saying anything.

These are direct statements from devs saying the 360 is more powerful.

So you think CDPR a dev known for being open and honest with the communty would go out if there way to lie and make the 360 look better?

This is a prime example of how Internet/forum rhetoric can turn into reality in some people's minds, despite plenty of evidence to the contrary.
They said xbox 360 is easier to code for. That's not debatable either. Xbox 360 is much easier to code for and PS3 is more powerful. Both statements are true, neither are really debatable.

:comeon: read it again

We definitely would have loved to, but The Witcher 2 on PC was so big that making it work on Xbox 360 took us a year," he said. "The Xbox 360 was a more powerful and easier-to-code-on platform than PS3, so that would have taken us another year or year-and-a-half."

This has been known since the inception of both systems. I'm not even sure how this is even being argued at this point.

@Kodie
And this

Think about it this way. X360 is faster than PS3. Not just easier to program on, it's faster overall (although PS is faster/better in SOME areas). And yet no exclusive on X360 looks like The Last of Us. Halo 4 looks great. Gears blew my mind in 2006. And still, the best looking AAA game of this generation belongs to the supposedly weaker platform
From the same dev that came out and admitted the ps4 is more powerful than X1

So the devs are wrong. And random Internet dudes are correct

:snoop:
Devs have been wrong before. Devs have lied before. I'll tell you this much - there are a number of PS3 exclusives that no game on the 360 matches even when taking scope into consideration. If this can be done on the universally accepted harder to code for platform, then I don't understand what series of steps would result in this still being the actual weaker platform.

The end of your last quote has the dude saying:

"And still, the best looking AAA game of this generation belongs to the supposedly weaker platform"

By my understanding, he's referring to TLOU as best looking AAA and PS3 as the "supposedly weaker platform". So he says PS3 is slower but it's also "supposedly" weaker. That implies, to me, that speed alone (in the traditional sense) isn't all that determines "power". The parallel abilities afforded by Core would support this.
