You dont know the stress this game put on my life. I used to end up with NES games from my older brothers and their friends and this was one of the games
My guy, I literally had heart palpitations as a 7-8 years old when I beat that game. The high was surreal. Had moms take me to the docs and everything, lol!

Shredder revenge is almost perfect but a lot of people have tried to copy it and all the clones are not as good the power rangers and GI JOE etc

yeah, i think SoR4 was well done also. Thats why Marvel Cosmic Invasion is hype cause they got Shredders Revenge team working on it.

same with Shinobi being the streets of rage team.

and yeah, Sifu should be the template for more than just beat em’ ups. More action games in general could learn from them

one is peak for 2d the other is peak for 3d

i want more of both. i want to see a AAA dev really throw some money behind one though. Imagine ND doing a beat em’ up? Head smashing on the pavement shyt
Nah, peak for 2d is Streets of Rage 4. And runner up by River City Girls 2 and Fight N Rage.

Can’t ever see capcom going back to the genre, who knows though
Yeah, it would be too easy for them to either craft a small ass team to do some or even outsource some folks to revamp some of their classics in the genre. It's unfortunate that a lot of these companies don't think these small investments are worth the effort. They could make easy money doing so.

i just didn’t like how SoR4 limited online co-op

SR felt way more arcadey
I don't recall, what was it's limitations? Wasn't it still up to 4-players? Was it a lack of cross-play?

And it feeling arcadey was a good thing. Ironically, I felt Shredder's Revenge felt more arcadey, but with less than arcade graphics.

As much as i shyt on Sega for re-heating yakuza and persona, they have the right attitude with their legacy IP.

I hear you. Technically, less is more, but an overabundance is still better than a 100% lack of interest entirely. Like, unrelated, but wtf is Capcom's problem in not making more Megaman games and transistioning him into 3d proper.

The few times they tried the games bombed so they gave up I guess.

even though Legends 1 & 2 are cult classics
