What do you e now? How did you earn that? Legitimately curious
get off politics for a SOLID month and come to 6 Figs 6 certs

There are people here who are financially educated. It starts with you!

I have three businesses that I started last year. Amazon, Referral Marketing and now a Consulting firm.

I went from having 300 connections of jobbers who could give two shyts where I went in life and am now connected with 3000 CEOs and state senators and congressmen. CHANGE YOUR MINDSET!

A better question is why buy shares of stock. What do they do with your money?

How do they produce 4%?

Keep asking why, and you'll discover the real secret to wealth. I've already given you a ton of free knowledge in here.

It pains me to read stuff like this because throughout my life I heard:

"We Need More black businesses!"

"We CAN'T do it without access to capital"

"Only the rich can invest and start businesses"

people who work jobs REGARDLESS of their title are already doomed to poverty. Please take this to heart and really ask yourself why I'd say this (coming from a chemical engineer at that).

Your grand retirement plan is a trap concocted by those who want your money. Heed my warning!
I well understand that employees won't ever be free. I said as much
the truth is employees don't get paid enough by the companies they work for to ever overcome housing and transportation expenses. Many employees are kept at a living wage level when it comes to pay and many more are kept below that.
This thread isn't about how an individual can break out of the rat race. I'm not talking about how an individual can get into that 10% of society that hordes all the resources and helps hold down the rest of society down.

I also need to make this clear:

I was once in your shoes @winb83 I worked as an engineer at a large corporation making $90K before taxes and I left it all behind when I realized that I was in a box

I cleared $90K in revenue this past month. The key is understanding WHAT MONEY IS!

If you go your whole life believing money is a store of value as opposed to an EXCHANGE of value. You will consistently be on the wrong side of EVERY transaction

I can't stress this enough. There is a reason black people have suffered since the '60s and it has everything to do with financial miseducation.
The exchange of money is about the perception of value even moreso than the exchange of value. If people perceive whatever you're selling or offering to be valuable they'll give you money for it. As long as they believe it's valuable they will continue to do so. It doesn't have to actually be valuable at all as long as they believe it to be so.

In order to make more money one has to be able to take some ingredients and create either value of the perception of value. The final product needs to cost less than the ingredients used to make it so you can come out ahead. When one is an employee this can never happen because the employer prices the value at a level that benefits themselves rather than the employee. In the end the employee will always come up short on the equation. The question becomes what if the employee is paid what they're satisfied with for the value they create? The reality is they're still on the short side of the equation but they're satisfied.

If you're an employee your employer is making more off you than they're paying you. They have to for you to remain an employee. When you become a business owner it's the same dynamic but you scale it and instead of employee and employer it's business owner and customer.

don't ask me how
Society has to have a bottom. Someone has to flip your burgers until a machine can do it instead. That burger flipper can't be paid too much because if they were it would eat into the wealthy's pockets. As a collective those burger flippers are crucial to say McDonald's business but as individuals they have no value. It's a job anybody can do that has to be done. McDonald's can't pay that burger flipper $15 an hour or more because they'd have to raise the price of food to do it but they can pay out $4.64 a year to millions if not billions of shareholders per share they own.

The real problem is most of society is treated like disposable cattle instead of human beings. Used until consumed entirely or cast aside when done.

If that's the case...

you deserve what you get :manny: at the end of the day if you don't recognize why you are on the losing end of the spectrum you can't ever fix it

politic all you want but there really isn't anything that is "free" out there. Currency serves to exchange value. That's it.

If you aren't willing to create something you can exchange for money...you will never attract it. :yeshrug:

the real historic black tragedies are in business where competitors in the past could kill, destroy and otherwise inhibit black people from growing wealth the right way (think black Wall Street in Tulsa). The reality is we have it better NOW than we ever have. You just need to wake up and see it.

Create something of value. Figure out a way that this can be made without you. Sell it. Generate wealth.

Rinse repeat :myman:

All of this is beside the point that the society we live in is unsustainable. 10% of the population can't have 90% of the wealth over a long period of time without things crashing down.

You do know how the RACIAL WEALTH GAP...was created right???:gucci:
black people were forced off their lands during reconstruction with no way of getting it back :francis:

but it isn't the 1800s anymore....and endless money is out there. Literally. The only thing stopping people from making money is themselves right now.

The final blessing of obama started in his first term and it was the advent of online business

if you haven't jumped on you might not have much time left soon

Not everyone deserves to win but the reverse is also true.
no, the reverse isn't true

nature is cruel

society just pulls the wool over our eyes to not see the truth.

There are two outcomes with the dealings among human beings. Either value is exchange freely and the winner or loser is determined in the transaction financially...

...or the exchange is through violence

You have to take a hard look at history to see what I am saying. You do black people no service in simply complaining and making demands when the powers that be have zero reasons to help us.

In fact it's the sole reason we are held back while other minorities grow wealth.

While militants on here complain, white nationalists recruit more to their side. 100's of years of work for integration and access to markets and capital down the drain for what?
