You know it's bad when they doing a draft of white washing Sinners. I already felt the draft pods were filler, them admitting it's filler is another thing though. They need to expand their criteria or something. I know it's foundation is nerd culture but I'm willing to bet people just fukk with them and would watch/listen if they covered shyt outside of nerd culture. Or at least do some retro reviews or some shyt instead of these drafts. Cover some shyt like Blankman/The Phantom/Meteor Man etc.
The drafts are great when they're interesting and fun draft ideas. They have some of their best moments with those. But when they start spamming them it gets old quick.
And I also am late to the party, but I wanna join the dogpile and shyt on them other shows too. That show with them white bytches is wack ass hell, and I've never even listened to it. You know how I know? Because whenever them hoes do something with the Boys they suck the air right out of the room when they talk. Just unmelinated, no salt, soul or sizzle saltine-ness. The only time it worked is with that dungeons and dragons episode, and that's just because the Boys carried.

Them hoes just be talking without a drop off entertainment value. I come to the crossover events when I see Van there, but then I'm reminded how much I actually don't like the show whenever one of the other nikkas start talking.Five minutes into the Versies and Van interjects because Mallory is just droning on
The only mixed company it works for is Rewatchables. Van, Simmons, and Chris Ryan is the dream team in that setting. Good balance of deep ball knowledge, comedy, and Van shytting on white folks whenever he can. Fennessey's not bad, but he be a lil too pretentious for me most times.

Simmons found his calling with the movie talk. He's kind of a dumb idiot Boston cac when it comes to sports. I realize he watches a ton of NBA but I still don't see him really understanding the game. Movies on the other hand, he has a wealth of knowledge that's good for the 'Rewatchables' format. Van and Chris are hilarious. Sean is ok. I like that Jason Concepcion is back with The Ringer they need him on more pods.

i listen to Ringer pods all week but just can't do House of R. Mal is insufferable. i wanna like her, but her voice and her tangents just make me bail every time. i wanna listen to that big Ringerverse crossover Oscar pod, but i know she's gonna ruin it
Sometimes I’ll do prestige tv just because no other place is talking about the shows and I have to turn it off. Bill was on the White Lotus and Task pods which made it easier, but the trio of Rob Mallory and Jo can be tough.
Rewatchables are usually good.
Adding Van or CR to anything improves it by a lot.
I would love if Van and the gang got to do some of the prestige stuff out at least invited to join in the conversations. And not just Van either. His group knows how to feed off each other to make the presentation fun and entertaining. Most of the others just don't seem to grasp that or I just don't vibe with their humor at all.
They need to let Van have his own Rewatchables month like CR. Shouts to Chris tho, they FINALLY managed to cover Sicario.
my ringer "hot take" is that Chris Ryan is on too many goddamn podcasts. i like the guy, but he is on everything always. they're doing this "CR Month" and the movies they're covering have been discussed so much over the years in bits and pieces, you can probably compile a 4 hour rewatchables for each of them. If i have to listen to these dudes talk about Heat for one more fukkin second, i'm gonna explode. Heat has been discussed on the Ringer more than Jayson Tatum at this point. one of the most overrated movies ever made.
