Man its a mix of being lucky and getting a role tht completely fits u. Using the Iron man example, Downey was lucky cuz he was a recovery coke head, and if it wasnt for Mel Gibson, he woulda never been casted in another movie. Also he was lucky cuz lets be honest, before the movie, iron wasn't the most popular in the Marvel universe. And with all tht u gotta give Downey credit cuz he OWNED tht character....Downey is Tony Stark. Its hard to imagine anyone else playing tht role, like Depp with Capt Jack Sparrow. Getting an Iron Man type role isnt as simple as ur making it seem.

Umm it was hyped when they rebooted it with Walker/Diesel in the previous movie. Don't get me wrong, Rock probably brought in extra fans to check out the movie but to claim that he was the main person for advertising and marketing is absurd and a lie perpetuated by a fanatical stan such as yourself. And this list is for 2011-2012 right? Because if we are including previous years then Rock would be bumped for guys like Robert Downey and Christian Bale.

Nobody even knows who Paul Walker..he has never been in another successful in his life. Vin Diesel only has that Pitch Black thing as well...he's been MIA for years. The Rock comes to the franchise and all of a sudden he's a draw again? WTF Hell, no one has heard from Diesel since while the Rock has damn near 6-7 flicks to be completed by next Spring.

I don't have time for previous years or anything shaky like that. The numbers from Forbes are rock solid..he was the 4th highest earning actor in Hollywood. Who knows what happened to your boys Bale and those cats. But they didn't outrank him. Period.
