So here's the standardSome people just don't feel Rock from 2010 and onoh well, that segment was funny as shyt then, and still funny now
Those of us who watched rock from the very beginning were relatively done with him before he came back THE FIRST TIME. thus, him getting booed at wwf NY and him turning heel, and we didn't give a fukk about the rock concerts and found them corny. We respect him and don't mind him bit that was his apex; his first time leaving.
Then there are people who got on board during his Hollywood run and during the time of this clip in OP. They are his craziest fans and love the silly shyt he does to this day with the cookie puss and whatnot. They are fans for life because rock has been this guy since this time.
Lastly there are today's fans who are really getting their first new taste of rock and are similar to the above, but they flipped on him because he talks about how great he is and whatnot but they never saw it live. That's the heel turn you're seeing on tsc.
I'm the first sector of fans but in my case, I will still laugh if he does something funny...it just doesn't happen very often (his last return riffing on big show and lana was hilarious for example)
Unbelievable from someone who marks out for those Boring RKO set ups you can see coming from a mile away and now Blandy is right on his 2004 wannabe Rock steez with the jokes being apart of his promos now.

Definitely agree about some corny stuff basically from 2010 and on, but the classic stuff is well...classic. And Heel Hollywood Rock is probably a top 5 heel character, one of the greatest comebacks ever
If the Rock didn't age well, no one did. Because he was the trendsetter that everyone followed to get to this point in wrestling history. Cena tried to be a fake Rock and he got rejected for it. Not to mention the MVPs, Kofis, Bookers..all these nyggas. Blandy. All of em. Lesnar wouldn't be who he IS TODAY if not for the Rock making this guy matter...if the Rock was a political b*stard and didn't want that little kid to come up? He just wouldn't have come back and would of let them do some goofy Cripple H vs Lesnar match at Summerslam 02 with the crowd not giving a fukk.
And on the mic? None of you EVER, EVER talk about about Austin's promos because he didn't have that kind of effect on you like Rock did..which is why these threads are always popping..which is why every single mic worker that gets hot is compared to Rock and not Austin. Because the Rock was the one who took it to the NEXT LEVEL and was getting .8.4 ratings for talking instead of doing luchadore goofy matches or doing a million german suplexes or saying "he lost his smile" or crying about America as a Canadian who made his money here or using bible quotes as a reference to get over. Pipe bombs...all of that shyt. None of that $hit mattered or worked on the same level as the Rock. None off it and none of it seems CLOSE..they got to SHOOT to even get you nyggas talking about a promo these days. That's corny and called being a follower. Stupid. That's your generation and it's weak. Skinny jean nyggas talking about "Corny". WTF

They been mad he's been able to come back and spark 3 back to back to back 1 million buyrates on the WM sector when the previous years were busts with all of their favorites on the roster. Taker, Punk, Cripple H, Shawn Michaels...they were all there. Rock came back and had people buying a Miz headlined Mania
