I'm only 30 pages in and had to stop at a point to cry for a minute.

It's essentially how economics shapes and pervades every facet of our lives and we pretend that it's normal.

American Slavery, American Freedom: The Ordeal of Colonial Virginia

Edmund Morgan is considered one of the GOAT historians.

Good podcast on the book and show from Breaking Brown Youtube and the Junto Podcast.

Book is available digitally for free on archive.org

I'm halfway through and may be one of the most fascinating books I've ever read.

Currently reading The Enigma of Clarence Thomas by. Corey Robin; To End a Presidency by. Joshua Matz & Laurence Tribe; and pieces of Race Matters by. Cornel West again.

I have like 15 books I haven't even touched sitting in my apartment, and I really want to start; school and work suck up too much time and effort to sustain a normal reading schedule.
