It wasn't signed yesterday because none of them were actually there to do so. Only the "4 corners" showed up to work out the deal.

They had the day off Saturday and likely didn't come in yesterday either.

The fact politicians can practice past the age of 70 is just mind blowing. There needs to be a age cap for every politician. And the presidency age can be lowered atleast 4 years. I wouldn’t expect these age changes to be implemented for maybe 100 years lol

If you look at the leadership positions in both parties, all of them are 70+.

The legit youngest person in a leadership position for the Democrats is Chuck and even he is 70 years old. Mitch will be 79 next year and Nancy 81. AOC is being vocal about it there being no succession plan or opportunity for growth in her party, yet she voted for Nancy 2 years ago and likely did it again this go around.

Runoffs more times than not have lower voter turnout than who usually show up for elections. It's not being cynical or pessimistic, it's a fact.

They need all of those people to show up and more for a chance at not just one seat, but both. If not, then be prepared for the same arguing and sticking points to continue that held up the bill for months.
