Naa, I think his constituents, but mainly his republican mates would have gotten on him. Even they were pleading with him to pass something. There are people that are up for re-election, and if nothing was passed, they'd be as good as done for.

This is misleading as fukk. This was the Marco Rubio law (or some shyt like that.) Basically, if you were married to someone that didn't have a social security number, they wouldn't be eligible for a stimulus check. Neither would you, for being married to them. Neither would your kids. Now.. they're allowing citizens with socials to receive the checks, and their kids.. but still not the people without socials. It's kind of fukked up because although they don't have a social, they have ITIN numbers.. and they've been paying taxes, while they wait for their immigration paperwork to process.
