They legit added 2,000 more pages to the bill in the matter of a day :picard:

If I was a member of Congress, I might consider recusing myself for voting on this bill in case of the nasty provisions that come out about it over the next few weeks. Also remember that it's a bipartisan bill that members of both parties and lobbyist helped craft, so one can't point the finger at another.

But you voted for your party leader who insists on engaging in this type of fukkery :patrice:

I’m pretty sure AOC don’t fukk with Pelosi. Plus she’s in the house and Pelosi is a senator. She’s been one of the few Democrats that’s been on Schumer and Pelosis ass the last few years. They stripped some of her committee assignments because of this

I totally get that, but she voted for her two years ago when the same issues were present and likely still voted for her this go around. I remember it perfectly because a lot of people weren't sure how she would vote, yet she fell in line when it came down to it.

I feel bad for her as she seems like a really nice person that's in the wrong line of work. Her heart is in the right place, but the niceness and wanting to help people isn't going to get her where she wants to go. She may not like it, but she's going to have to play the game. She wants no part of that and they are making her suffer because of it.

She had the chance to vote against her leader, but fell in line along with her other party members.

You think she could've foreseen how badly Pelosi would handle these pandemic negotiations? That's not fair to put that on her. Progressives have made more noise in the last year, than 2 years ago.

There wasn't a pandemic two years ago :wtf: This shyts brought out peoples' true colors for all of America to see. And I agree.. her heart IS in the right place.. and if she feels like she can make a change, then I cant hate her for it. Whether it works out in the end or not, we'll just have to wait and see. The fact is, this country is becoming more and more progressive as the months pass. And I think the pandemic has only sped up that process.

There have been long term questions about Pelosi wayyyy before what's transpiring now. None of this is new. People seem to have selective memory when it comes to that. They were calling for her job years ago and even Keith Ellison wanted her spot. There were people who felt like she had to go. And what happened? They got breh blackballed and out of the paint while replacing him with Tom Perez. Everyone else including AOC fell in line with voting her back in.

AOC is learning the cold hard lesson of being a media darling doesn't mean shyt as long as those old heads are still in charge. Her and the progressives don't have as much power as they think because they still have to answer to the leadership in charge.
