from like seasons 1-9, its the shyt, but from like 2000 - current it's awful,same thing happened to family guy, 1st couple seasons were real good, then when it got resurrected it fell way the hell off because mcfarlame started feeling himself

I don't think I've seen a single episode of The Simpsons since seasons 12. Season 11 was so soul crushingly awful I simply refused to go on. I heard ten years ago that the show's worst period was the 11th to 14th or so seasons but I certainly don't care to go back and watch anything after the 9th season. The problem is that you can't change The Simpsons and you can only eat the same thing for so long before even a good episode feels stale. I've also heard that the late teens and early 20s seasons have a lot to offer if you put aside your love of when it was the best show running and realize that it'll never be the same again.

i grew up on the simpsons so i'll tune in to watch the new episodes and for those saying it fell off, the simpsons' first episode aired in 89....that's 24 seasons....a lot of cartoons don't even last 5 seasons but the simpsons was able to produce 10 great seasons mixed with some ok and bad ones. they're the g.o.a.t

First 8 seasons of The Simpsons are the best TV you will ever watch. 9-11 was good. 12-15 was watchable. After that, I stopped watching altogether.

The voice actress has been in the game since the early 70's (Marcia Wallace) and we remember her for this (which was awesome). That's impact. Yea the Simpson has been pretty good the past season or two, but people don't appreciate it for what it is. A good but no longer great show, but it still has it's moments.

Seasons 1 and 2 weren't great season 3-9 I would day was the prime of the show.
