Only issues I had with BE is the time they spent on Margaret and they shouldn’t have killed off Jimmy as soon as they did. Sopranos gets the edge.

Keep in mind the biggest strength as well as weakness from Boardwalk is the fact that it was primarily based on real life mobsters. And some stories, yes they stretched the truth on instances, but they still work around it in the reality of those outcomes such as Capone going to prison for tax evasion or Nuckys death which was an illusion for him getting arrested.

That's why a lot of fictional characters had to get the ax in the end.

Naw the Sopranos is HBOs 2nd best show of all time with maybe only the Wire being better.

I will say this Boardwalk Empire is underrated, imo. I think one thing that should be mentioned is Boardwalk empire was based to an extent on real life so it didn't move at the same pace as the Sopranos.

Boardwalk Empire had too many characters and convoluted storylines, I had no idea WTF was going on.

They shouldn't have killed that young dude with the skank mother, he was the best character.

Killing him off after the truth about him and his mother was finally revealed was a wild choice.

Sopranos is my fav series by a huge margin. I dont see how ppl can hate on it
