IMO, overall NYC is a much more entertaining place than the part of NC I always go to (Rocky Mount), have you ever been there? If you have you'd know its a small country town and even older heads who like down south have admit its slow compared to the city life, by slow I mean the way of life is boring and NOT that the residents are slow. I only went to Raleigh Durham once and we didn't even get to go to the Triangle


I just like NYC better... plus you gotta have a car down there unless you live in Charlotte or something, where's in NYC a car is not necessary... living down there knowing how to drive is a must, its crazy as my parents don't even want to move to Charlotte because of a silly reason

Theres more to NC than one small little hick town. I went to Charlotte for the first time a few weeks ago. It wasn't NYC but I liked that.

And fukk public transportation. 3-4 days a week I ride my motorcycle to work. Im on the East side and work on the west side so I have to take 3 trains to work in Manhattan shyt is always crowded and it takes like 2x as long for me to get to work by train than motorcycle or even my damn pedal bike Traffic in Charlotte isn't bad and you can live either by their little bullshyt train or close to work for cheap.

Yes, but you'll get paid significantly less in NC as opposed to NY. There are some people who were able to keep a high salary and move down South but a lot of times that's not the case.

And even for regular jobs, your money goes a lot further. The drop in COL is way more than the drop in pay, which is more money in your pocket. Its not what you make it swhat you keep

I was once in Boston's airport waiting for a connection flight to London, UK. I walked into a restaurant (something Legal.. cant recall the name) and sat at the bar between two white people guys. Then a few minutes later this black dude came and sat next to me and we were talking and he told me he could tell i was not from Boston because a black man sitting between two whites like that in Boston is pretty much unheard of.

It was weird to me because I live in the South where it's supposed to be supper racist according to these northerners and i sit and party with white folks with no problem

The South is cool. Notice outside of New Orleans every year the country's murder capital is always the midwest or the east coast. nikkas is violent as Hell in Philly Jersey and NY. Chicago, Gary Indiana, Detroit. U can't tell me nikkas is more happy there than they are in NC SC FL.

more like liberals taking up points that impact minorities more than the other major political party. and the other major political party making more of an effort to implement laws that negatively impact minorities. no doubt lip service is paid to a great extent, but the reality remains one party is clearly more regressive and less inclusive than the other.


now if you want to discuss which political party is more progressive and representative of minority issues then start a new thread. i'd be glad to debate it.
