Which is why I’m happy he was more specific in 2021 than he did in that video

From what I see on the net the south despises anything east coast. Not sure what it is but they can’t stand us.

Not sure what it is? You must be young. I notice the younger NYers are a little cooler than the ones my age. I don't say East Coast because I bang with Philly and NJ cats all day. It's always NYers that were very arrogant and disrespectful to people from the South. A lot of NYers caught the beats in Miami in the early 90's and changed their tune when visiting.

Although I don't think Jay Z was really hated in the South, there wasn't a lovefest either. A lot of people liked how he did songs with Juvy and UGK. But he wasn't heavily played in the clubs in Miami, unless you were in a tourist spot.

Outside of South Beach. Jay Z wasn't played heavily in the clubs in Miami. Some of the dance songs were played like put your hands up. Big Pimpin and HA remix. But back then it was Trick Daddy, TI, 8ball & MJG, No Limit, West Coast rap etc played heavily. Which makes sense.
