This frank ocean situation is what it is. Frank lost me as a fan. Not because he's getting Apple money, but because I can only listen to channel orange so often. Thanks for channel orange I guess. Let me know when I can access his new music.

convenience and value. but at some point the market becomes too convoluted for consumers. and they have to realize that their true 'competition' is piracy. instead of trying to cut each other's throat, they should be unified in an effort to find a way to get people to actually pay for music

true they got super greedy. All you needed was two platforms tops, but then again look at animals like these:

I just simply don't believe in paying to stream something I can acquire through other avenues. Especially now when they're locking certain artists to specific platforms.

i have a premium spotify account and it serves me well. there are gaps in the library but i'm ok with that.

the streaming companies benefit from exclusivity, but i think the artists are going to learn that they are cutting some of their audience when they agree to this. or maybe that is wishful thinking. it may stay like this the way boxers are exclusive to certain tv networks. this kind of thing contributed to the delay of the mayweather v pacqiao fight.
