To get a bill passedWhat is she negotiating for?
To get a bill passedWhat is she negotiating for?
And what's the bill going to do? Who is it going to help?To get a bill passed
Because student loan interest has to be eradicated(fully knowing that the gov so charged interest by the banks on the money they loan to students)And what's the bill going to do? Who is it going to help?
It seems to me more like she is using student loans as a means to push a tax hike through, rather than the other way around. Why would u cosign that?
I paid off my loans... working on my girls loans now..So, I took out loans and I paid them off. My wife paid off her college loans. No tax increase help for us. Why for everyone else? Why are they entitled to it?
This lady is a bozo.
noIsn't raising taxes in the reach the way to offset the expenses of making loans more affordable?
Again, I don't think the rich should be on the hook, and putting them on the hook won't drive down college costs, which is the root of the problem.Because student loan interest has to be eradicated(fully knowing that the gov so charged interest by the banks on the money they loan to students)
Only thing I want is for degrees to have different pricing
Making a sociology degree or something in that vein $10,000 while engineering and stuff in that vein is $20,000 would do wonders
There's no reason why every degree should cost the same
This is what most sensible people would work towardsAgain, I don't think the rich should be on the hook, and putting them on the hook won't drive down college costs, which is the root of the problem.
I would much rather see the adoption of a national FREE public university system, paid for by everybody above the poverty line. That would solve a ton of problems... instead of mandating tuition limits, you force colleges to sink or swim, and the ones that can't offer anything over a free school would get bought out and incorporated into the federal system
I also think degrees in need for the economy and country's future should be incentivized over the others, which would also be easy to do with a public university system
I just don't see the point or purpose of using important issues like the student loan crisis as a means of levying pointless punitive taxes.
That shyt is even a problemno
we could seize all the 1%s wealth and it would be a drop in the bucket of our fukkin debt and deficit. this country is fukked
If you decide something is impossible, you will never make it happen. It can gain traction if people stop thinking politics and start thinking solutions. There are other countries with free college. This is what most sensible people would work towards
But knowing that this has 0% of ever gaining any traction.
There is still an issue that has to be addressed
Live your whole existence on the internet and try to assuage your inecurities via broadband brehs....
Expecting strangers to post personal info to soothe one's ego.........That shyt got to be some type of mental illness
No wonder yall post the lame shyt yall post................
But you know what....You right You right..........You got me..........I'm broke and just frontin online.............
Where did you work while you was in college?I don't really care if you believe whats written on the internet. I don't exactly have a reason to lie about something so petty. I graduated in 2009. Started college in 2004. I went to UMass, failed out my first year cuz I didn't attend, went to CC for 2 years, went back to UMass after and got 33% off my tuition since I went to the state CC and graduated. I ended up paying 6K for two years of CC and 13k for the last 2 years of my bachelors(cum laude) at UMass. So yea, I worked the entire time and paid it off as I went. Its not a foreign concept. Its how it was done for many years before the credit card generation came about. I graduated with no debt. I didn't have any white privilege help, no handouts, no scholarships, no grants, no military money, no nothing. I could have gone to BC and spent 40k per year to get the same thing I got out of UMass. But I didn't. Enjoy your debt breh and don't ask me to help you pay for it. You chose it. You live with that decision. No yuppie bullshyt here. Take responsibility for yourself and don't give me that bullshyt bootstrap argument. Most people are too idiotic to realize the choices they make can come back and hurt them later. I'm not one of them and now I don't have any debt from my education.
But props on the use of a nice college word like assuage. I bet it was worth the debt.
That isn't why she is doing it. You obviously didn't read the article
How many times is this strategy going to fail before the left acknowledges it doesn't work?
The issues driving the student loan problem have nothing to do with taxes on the rich being too low.... so correspondingly raising taxes on the rich won't fix them.
"Solve problems" by completely ignoring their root causes brehs.
I didnt have to read it to know shes not solving the underlying problem. We wouldn't need a financing scheme if tuition weren't out of control (and people weren't on the hook for degrees they didn't complete). When you take a solution based approach to problems you have a much better chance of solving them. That isn't why she is doing it. You obviously didn't read the article. If you reduce the interest rates you create a shortfall, so she says to compensate for it--tax the rich. It's financing scheme. FYI, the left never actually taxes the rich because progressive tax policies don't get through.
