I know the Knicks tried to trade their young pieces multiple times:

-Once to the Kings and the Pistons in the hopes of getting Jaden Ivey (rejected)

-A second time they tried to trade Obi to Portland for their pick (rejected)

And I always wondered why couldn’t they get anywhere and the article explains it. They are too scared to trade those draft picks.

Truth be told it’s a smart move because Donovan and Brunson would be a disaster in the backcourt

Wiggins was meh his first full season. Then turned into a top 5 two way wing his 2nd full season. Oubre could've done the same
