Not taking Westbrook and giving Kyrie and Lakers what they want. They won't get shyt for Kyrie let him sit out that contract and let's see if a team get desperate at deadline. fukk that nikka Kyrie
You just repeated what you wrote instead of answering :mjlol: if you're already supposedly willing to “let Kyrie sit at home” why would you care about getting Westbrook back and letting him sit at home as well while also getting draft compensation that you wouldn’t get from letting Kyrie sit at home lol … and if you don’t think they’ll “get shyt” for Kyrie now ..why would they wait till the deadline where teams are only getting him for maybe half a year if he plays at all ..how would they suddenly get more then?

I mean listen …if your only rationale here is “fukk the lakers” I think that would explain pretty firmly why you’re a fan and not a front office professional …most front office executives run off of some functioning logic not irrational emotion ..tht shyt you’re talking sounds like pure emotion

I dunno, those Lakers picks sound like good money down the road.

That's literally the only return they're getting out of that trade tho, you'd think they'd be able to net something better for an expiring contract. :jbhmm:

:leon:
MyKnee Hurtin, Bench Simmons, and Street Clothes on the same team? With the possible guest appearance of LeBald? :ohhh:

Damn, I actually want to see that happen. Best bench the NBA will ever have, it ain't even close. :pachaha:

That may be their starting 5, and if they wanna make a run for the play in tournament, they’re gonna need to build as much chemistry as possible. If they dominate summer league and do well during the preseason games, they may be on to something next season.
Trying to compete to soon is going to turn Pistons into a treadmill team but i guess that is what the fanbase rather have :yeshrug: ...same thing happened to the hawks when they made ECF way ahead of time and it forced them to compete.

As much as I disagreed with it at the time, Morey gave everyone the blueprint last season. :manny:

Having to hold Kyrie on an expiring isn't the end of the world if you're also trying to see what deals you're going to get for KD. That Lakers offer isn't going anywhere anyway.

KD himself gets to hold that L too. No one is actually giving a damn if he starts playing like shyt. These bums were swept in the first round last season.

Nets planting their foot in terms of getting a good deal for KD is what they need to do to get over this nonsense. They got one of the most coveted players in the league and if Simmons wasn't out there blocking a ton of trades, Ayton wouldn't even be mentioned in this conversation.

By the time the deadline comes and some teams figure out they're toast, the offers will pick up. Right now, the Nets are running the same play the Sixers did last season. This will take a while.
