That poster was saying that teams would be lining up to get Kyrie for the cap relief and I was agreeing your premise that the majority of teams that would want Kyrie are way over the cap anyways to the point that they wouldn't get cap relief even if they let him walk. For the teams that aren't, the FA next year isn't even that good anyways to justify giving up what it would take to get his expiring contract.
Oh ok ..you were adding on to my post ..got you …my bad I was confused

All you’re doing is highlighting yet another reason why another team isn’t going to offer a big deal to acquire him in a trade … :mjlol:
Who said I wasn't?

The only reason you get Kyrie is to go mercenary on winning a chip not because you actually want him.

And how many teams are willing to do that and would the Nets be willing to accept what type of packages those teams are offering? Don't use the Toronto/Kawhi example because the Spurs didn't want to tank which is why they specifically took that package when there were better offers out there.

That mercenary shyt only works when you have someone willing to by in and Kyrie isn't necessarily that type.

I think Kyrie trade value is fukked and he gets a trade kicker too... Which is absurd. He just burned bridges with three NBA franchises. Excellent work of his agent after the exit in Boston.

Kawhi situation is completely different and he was not only a top 10 player, but he was the NBA's best two-way wing when healthy. Which is more valuable in today's NBA.

It's probably why they want a king's ransom for KD, because they got to take Kyrie to the Dollar General.

"Now, why would Chicago sign an aging point guard, when they have so many other young talented, ready to play now guards on their team already?"
