You got blue check marked writers proposing Mitchell to BK for Durant in a 3 way....its illegal Theres 12 players that cant be traded to BK unless Simmons is part of it Donovan Mitchell is one of them,its been posted on social media a dozen times....
or NBA people thinking certain players r still on there old teams... SMH

So we know this deal would be literally impossible for Brooklyn unless Simmons is being traded too
Which makes no sense cause his contract is enormous and only a limited amount of teams could take him cause of his contract
And before you say "Simmons to Utah", how would that work if they're trading for Ayton who would likely be getting that same designated extension. Not to mention it would make no fukking sense. Nets trade Simmons and Durant for Donovan fukking Mitchell?
Ben simmons has to be involved. By NBA rule he and Mitch cant be on the same team by trade because of the designated roomie extension rule.

It's easy to say "Simmons is gone" but tell me where he's gonna be gone to
1. The team would need to trade back equal salary. He's on the books for 35 million next season.
2. He can't be traded to a team that has a player on a designated rookie extension so immediately eliminated is

That rule needs to be deaded next CBA. I understand why they put it in place (to incentivize players to stay where they're drafted) but I don't think they expected owners to be handing out those rookie max extensions like candy
