Lamarcus had a better career....Boogie was better at their peaks. Got no prob conceding that. I just don't like the Lamarcus comp because Sheed was an all defense level player. Lamarcus and Boogie were turnstiles.

Yes he was. Ben Wallace got all of the acclaim bit Sheed was the anchor for that Pistons defense. And LMA was NOT a good defender. He had a couple average to solid defense seasons with the Spurs a decade into his career.

LMA was a solid drop back P&R defender and vertical rim protector in his best years in Portland he had a lot of length (7’5 wingspan).

Sheed wasn’t the anchor he was their best post defender though.

Sheed had back to back seasons on a top 5 rated defense in Portland. And he anchored that defense…had the highest rating on the team. And if you don’t think Lamarcus was a good defender then why even throw him in your argument? Sheed was one of the best defenders in the league at his position.
