Doesn't mean anything
The problem with this thread though is it lacks the total numbers. How many Wiis did they sell in 2 days vs Switch and what was shipped on both.
Fastest selling in two days could be because they undershipped on one and shipped more on another. If they shipped 1 million Wiis day 1 and sold them all and shipped 1.5 million Switches on day one and sold them all who is to say if they shipped 3 million Wiis day one all 3 million would have sold and if they shipped 3 million Switches there's be plenty sitting available to buy?
The thing about businesses is they always put out information like this to portray the message they want to get across in the best light possible. Look at Microsoft for example it has taken them forever to put out actual numbers on how many copies Halo 5 sold because it sold drastically less than the other copies. When the initial press releases came out it was Halo 5 has the biggest Halo launch ever and they're adding in console bundles to the sales numbers to reach a larger number. That's just how these companies play it. Te stuff they don't tell you often says more than the stuff they do.
