It is not about BTC necessarily but more the travesty that is fiat money. It is quite simply the root of all economic problems.
I could be championing gold but let's be honest gold sucks as currency and is a relic at this point. Bitcoin is much better
(even if you do not care for Bitcoin the video is worth watching)

I personally don't want the problems associated with the highest level of income, nor do I want to see the people around me change because they're looking at me like a bank. But there is a comfortable level of income I'd like to reach on the very very humble and quiet tip. I'm wondering how to topple some of these publishing heirs so I can write and disseminate my books in a way that doesn't mainly profit them (because they didn't make the product). Any ideas?

basically since Reagan, the country has de-industrialized, taxes were cut dramatically, and the rich ruling class have benefitted from numerous policies that have erased what created the most financial equality in this country from the time of FDR to the 1970s

negative, IMO the rest of the world just caught up, and began to compete. The majority of the economic sectors in America were not prepared for international competition, and I think many federal regulations reflect that.
Economic mobility is the name of the game, and I think it can be tackled without vilifying anyone.
