Trap at one point was Fading, when Kendrick dropped GKMC in 2012, but lo and behold, trap pushed new acts like Rich Homie Quan, Future, and Young Thug to counteract the success of K. Dot and Cole.
Now, you go these acts trying to downplay them 2 and think that a non trap avenue is non existent.

Kendrick although TPAB is underappreciated at the moment people will look back and see the impact it will truly have.
Trap is cool for the clubs i get that but outside of there its really not enjoyable. Its forgettable. This whole era has bred 0 classics. 0 0 classic albums. 0 classic beats 0 classic tracks. 0 legendary producers shyt is horrible.

This the worst era rap has seen since the early 80s where nikkas was sounding like they was yelling into the mic through a bedroom window and the mic was in the kitchen(thank god for rakim)

With Ross & Jeezy both catching bricks and Gotti struggling to get a release date that sound is being phased out. The younger generation of southern artists can't be considered trap artists.
