Yeah, east coast gangsta rap was once the most dominating force back in the late 80s to mid 00s, and then had a sudden dropoff. When the economic situation gets worse and people forego partying, best believe these artists will be history. It's already been a decade into the Gucci Mane style trap beats and stagnation is apparent now.
