he needs to play somewhere desperately to just get to that "vet backup" level. I think if he goes to canada and plays there for entire year, all games, maybe two years...does half-decent, hed get a good chance back off pedigree and potential improvement. At the very least he can likely carve out a Josh Dobbs like career

Still holds true. If he dominates the inferior competition in that league he can make a comeback.

RIght now he's in no man's land in the NFL. He isn't a starter. He isn't a vet backup. He is not exactly a developmental 3rd qb who can be an udfa or seventh rounder playing for peanuts anymore either.
