The MW should be increased because Americans are unable to pay for rent and food even while working 2 MW jobs. In certain places in the world, one dollar could go a long way. In America, a single dollar is next to worthless. That is why MW needs to be increased. Prices of food and housing are increasing while the wages are stagnating. This is why 70+% of Americans are living from paycheck to paycheck.

We can fund treatment and drug war spending.

We need to come to terms with the reality that harmful drugs exist and should be de-incentivized from being allowed to pervade society.

I dont know a world where cocaine is a community benefit.

We can debate which drugs are schedule though.

If you want to force corporations to spend more on their workers, the minimum wage doesn't address that.

2% of employees make MW. So its clearly not the minimum wage floor thats the cause of wage stagnation.
