Anyone comparing boxing is an idiot.
This doesn't mean the ufc is dead. This is simply one of the biggest return on investments in history. .... a few million to 4 billion.
Any investment group would keep people like Dana and Rogan around for certain roles.
Mma is a bigger conversation around the world than boxing. This new sale might turn it into a top 3 sport.

It's a shame because MMA is infinitely more entertaining but it simply lacks the starpower and cross-over appeal. Honestly I hate this whole Reebok bullshyt. It's ruined the whole image. I miss the days where it was like a bad ass fringe-mainstream thing, people rocking shorts with all different sponsors on them. Now UFC feels like a shytty semi-corporate shytfest

Oh, no doubt dude, I'm just expressing my perspective on it. They're smart to sell out when they can. I hope someone can restore the same life into the sport that it once had.

I have a ton of respect for Zuffa but I wouldn't mind seeing Coker at the helm if they sell.

They just can't create stars like they use to..That light heavy division 5-10 years ago was GOAT.Also the fights between Couture,Tito and Chuck.They put them on the map.Brock gave em a good run too.Just no star power now.

They can create stars but they don't have lasting power because of the many disciplines of mma.

No singular boxing promotion is worth 4 billion

Boxing doesn't operate like the UFC to begin with...for one there isnt a monopoly on the sport that UFC has with MMA with boxing, you take UFC out...the bulk of the sport goes with it...and I thought it'd be worth more than 4 billi for those reasons...which is what the was about

At the end of the day they are a more valued company then any other combat organization.

$4 billion is a good amount for the UFC.

Comparing the UFC to football (soccer) is laughable. There are about football 15 teams that generate more revenue per year than the UFC.

They are neck and neck with boxing in the US. Although globally boxing is easily more popular.​

If there was a singular company that had a strangehold on boxing like UFC has on MMA, it'd be worth waaaaay more than 4th billi

True, but the hypothetical conclusion I came to is that I believe if a company had the same stranglehold on boxing the way UFC has on mma it'd be worth waaaay more than 4 billi...it just would...that's where "they hsve the nerve" comes from
