The movie was based in great ideas but the execution was lackluster. There was too much flash and not enough plot substance or character development. The series need a reboot and more needs to be added to the lore.

Killing Lucian in the first movie
-Amelia was one of the three elders and they just killed her off by the B team of Lycon's like it was nothing. Again
The writing of the Corvinus storyline in the second movie
-Marcus should of been more of a boss than he was. Involving his brother was stupid and don't even get me started on the father showing up and being "the human immortal crap"
Everyone loves Beckinsale-but her and Michael had no business defeating Marcus....
-Matter of fact, the whole writing of Michael's character was Speedman is a horrible actor and the casting of the character just really ruined him.

The writers know they fukked up killing Lucian and Viktor off too early so they made the third film. Which was alright
but the blunders of the first two film's couldn't make up for it.
