The warriors closing lineup....can any team match up ?

Why in the world would you go small and try to match up. That's fighting a losing battle.

You have to pound the post and have athletic bigs who can defend the perimeter. The problem is finding bigs who can play up AND defend the perimeter. There has to be less than 7 of those in the association

you guys keep saying this and i have yet to see it done. green is a great defender AND he can get away with a lot because he is undersized, plus they usually let teams play at the end of games. and like has been said earlier, the lineup is so athletic they can easily swarm on a big and rotate back if they kick it back out.

simply "pounding the post" clearly does not work. and then what about on defense ? those lumbering bigs are lost trying to keep up with barnes and green.

Nah, you need Love's offense to get them to rotate, if you have Thompson out there they won't respect his offense.

The key to beating that small lineup is having offense at all 5 spots.

Teams are hard trapping mostly, so green or whoever sets the screen is running a 4 on 3 half court break with shooters on the wings

This line up would also force Curry to have to defend. That is the key you can't let him not play defense in the 4th qtr. He will be able to conserve his energy.
