It's not even so much the lineup, I may start a different thread, but what's your answer or or how as a coach are you going to defend the curry pick and roll.. That's the elephant.. Teams are hard trapping mostly, so green or whoever sets the screen is running a 4 on 3 half court break with shooters on the wings
The problem with most defenses is predictability. If I know u r hard trapping, then I'm prepared for a 4 on 3 break situation. But if u mix up the defenses throughout the game, the offense has to slow down to process what the defense is doin .

Slowing the offense down even half a beat is the difference between an open vs contested shot. I'd also throw a little zone at em just to change up what they are doing. Even a box and 1 just to make their offense think.

Also, the goal should be to force Klay and Barnes to make basketball decisions on the fly. Those two in particular have more difficulty if they have to make quick decisions.

:mjlol:them boys might get beat by 50 points on Tuesday.
most likely..we let Rubio and Lowry torch us from 3s..Tuesday is going to be brutal. But NBA is pretty weird, usually a shytty team breaks a streak, probably would be our championship if we won :blessed:

Cleveland was running with that lineup before Delly got cramped and the rest of the season went on. But healthy? No doubt. If you got Smith actually splashing, I'd say their closing line up is as good if not better

I wouldn't sleep on the Celtics being able to neutralize them a bit, they have a lot of interchangeable guys in the 6ft to 6ft 8 range. They're also a very good defensive team.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
THIS TO A TEE THE REASON THE CLIPPERS LOST WAS BECAUSE DENADRE WAS USELESS ON OFFENSIVE IF HE DOESNT TOUCH THE BALL OR GETS A OFFENSIVE REBOUND

THEY WOULDVE HAD A BETTER CHANCE IS SMITH OR SOMEBODY WE CAN SHOOT OUT THERE SAME WITH THE CAVS

YOU NEED LOVE OUT THERE BECAUSE WHO EVER HELPS OFF LEBRON IN THE POST HAS TO RESPECT THE SHOOTING OF WHOEVER LEAVES THE OFFENSIVE PLAYER

I honestly don't know why the Clippers keep putting Jordan out there, the only thing I can come up with is that they beat the Warriors a few years ago in 7 when they had Green on the floor but that was when the Warriors were young, inexperienced and had David Lee on the floor as well. They insist on doing the same shyt when Blake at the 5 and Smith at the 4 like you and @jaguar paw have said may give them a better chance.

*I thought about that aspect and came to the conclusion that a Kyrie and Williams lineup could get hot and eat as well
I think you gotta have Shump just because of what he gives you defensively, but Shump just absolutely can't be trusted to score even when open, sometimes like J.R. sometimes not. I think you would like Williams because he's gonna consistently give you points on open looks. Which one would run at the 1 though? :jbhmm:
