You're just an immature dude. The irony is Frank Ocean has the most diverse subject matter of any of these new popular singers.
Channel Orange touched on Police Brutality and many other social issues. But because he's gay/bi "this nicca only talking about fukkin asses". Grow up.

"Crooked cop dead cop
How much dope can you push to me
Crooked cop dead cop
No good for community
fukkin' pig get shot
300 men will search for me
My brother get popped
And don't no one hear the sound
Don't no one hear the rounds, ooh, sound
Don't no one hear the shells, ooh, shells
Don't no one hear a sound
Don't no one disturb the peace for riot
Don't no one disrupt nirvana
Don't no one wanna blow the high"

:wow: Nicca was singing this in 2012, and you don't get why this guy is revered by fans and his peers. Your favourite artist fukks with Frank music too

This nikka was beating his dikk to Frank's wood chopping video copping pleas about "art" and the album still aint drop:mjlol:

Can't admit this nikka Frank Hocean has no respect for his fans and has been on some BS these last few years and KIM:mjlol:

When this shyt finally does drop it'll be about a 6/10 but this nikka will be all giddy like feed me frank feed me with music frank:wrist:

Big fan of both. There music serves totally different purposes. I don't expect the things I expect of Frank from Weeknd and vice verse

More slobber gymnastics....."I don't expect the things I expect of Frank from Weeknd and vice verse"

wtf does this even mean. :what:

Frank dont release no music and keeps promising his fans release dates that don't happen but he "serves a totally different purpose" and you "expect different things from him." Like what? What purpose does not releasing music and putting out wood chopping videos serve and why would a fan of his "expect" these things? You love him so much that getting his fans hopes up over and over only to deliver art videos is what you expect? That's his purpose? fukk out of here:camby:

Frank clearly operates on his own timeline, that being said, the quality of his music as a whole is very high, so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

Thinking About You was written for Bridget Kelly. She recorded, put it out and nothing happened. Lonny's demo leaked and Lonny Breaux became Frank Ocean.

This came out after Nostalgia Ultra was released AND Frank already had an EP out far before this, plus some other songs.
Earl, Frank, Tyler and all these dudes were already known to many people, perhaps not the commercial cats on the coli but we knew :what:.

She has nothing to do with Frank Ocean except him giving her his song.

This is not history it was like yesterday, you are in here spreading lies.

Frank's becoming the J.Electronica of R&B:huhldup::feedme::birdman::
D'Angelo took 5 years, then 14 years. It's not wrong to assume that he's trying to model his legacy after D'angelos' with a modern hipster twist.

Its fact

Thinkin Bout You - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In early 2011, Roc Nation recording artist Bridget Kelly and her production team had approached Ocean to write a song for her debut studio album.[1][2] The song in question eventually became "Thinking About You", which Kelly commented; “it’s sort of a vulnerable track and I wanted everyone to feel me on it.”[3] On July 28, 2011, Ocean leaked his demo version of the song onto his tumblr account, with the title stylized as "Thinking Bout You".[4] The song was then promptly taken down by Ocean.[4]Kelly, who had already performed an acoustic version of the song, retitled her version "Thinking About Forever" following the release of Ocean's version.[3] Kelly's version found its way onto her debut EP Every Girl (2011).[2] Kelly was ultimately fine with Ocean's decision, however she noted that she didn't like how most people thought Ocean's version was the original, and how people assumed her version was a cover version.[2] About the confusion of the track, Kelly stated

Now that push has come to shove, we're going to let the song have a life of its own. I think it's an amazing, well-written record. Frank Ocean is incredibly talented, I will never say anything against that. But at the same time, you know, he's going to do what he wants to do, he's an artist as well.[2]

Ocean later stated why he chose to release his own version of the song, stating that it was still extremely personal to him.[5][not in citation given] On March 8, 2012, a re-mastered version of the song premiered on IHeartRadio, intended to be the lead single from Ocean's debut album.[3][6] At a listening party in June 2012, it was confirmed that the track would appear on Ocean's Channel Orange, which was released on July 17, 2012.[7] The version of the track eventually featured on the album was remodified for a second time, this time to include additional strings and further remastered production.[8] It was released as a digital download on April 17, 2012.[9] The song was subsequently released to mainstream radio in the United States on January 29, 2013.[10]

Are you trolling or what?

You said that

1) Frank exists due to her when the only thing she did was cover his song.

2) That the song created Frank when he already had not one but TWO mixtapes out one of which contained songs like We all try, Swim good and Novacane before Think about you original and Kelly's version

3) He was already with Odd Future, a tumblr-era sensation.

:snoop:.

I'm not entertaining this trolling shyt anymore.
