The Coli made fun of 23 year olds Losing in the Conference Finals/ Finals before. Why the double standard here?

Exactly ....wasn't Kyrie 23 when he won his ring?

I distinctly remember him getting shytted on for years before that as well.

I suppose Being a fan fav has its perks

WHO SAID THAT?
MOST PLAYERS USED TO AGE OUT AROUND 30-32.

PRIME STARTS AROUND 24-25
WHILE YOU PROBABLY PEAK AT 27-28

I remember specifically when the Luka trade went down, a lot of these pundits (including former players) were saying things like Luka is just hitting his prime. I know he was 25 when the trade happened (and turned 26 a few weeks later), but this was his 7th season. That’s 7 years of NBA experience already (not including his experience being a pro overseas).

So someone like Damian Lillard entered his prime in his 3rd-4th season while Anthony Edwards is still a year away despite being in year 5?

YEA 3-4 YEAR COLLEGE PLAYERS
COME IN MORE DEVELOPED
WHICH IS WHY MJ WAS
AVERAGING 37 IN HIS 3RD YEAR.

MJ AND DUNCAN WERE
DEFINITELY IN THEIR PRIMES
BY THEIR 4TH SEASONS.

ANT WOULD HAVE COME IN
MORE POLISHED IF HE DID
3-4 YEARS IN COLLEGE

A lot of this has to do with coaching

McDaniels is a great player but Dagnault isn’t letting Ant dance around 1 v 1. It isn’t by coincidence when The Wolves started running extra bodies at Shai & chasing nikkax off the line the game became competitive

Ant still has to get better getting easier shots. Moving without the ball. Post up game. Just overall maturity on and off the court.

Don't know how they can improve the roster tho. Randle can opt out to get more money. Reid a FA. He hurting his market with his performance in the playoffs.

Conley pretty washed. Will the new owners spend money?

He’s probably more fundamentally sound as a 21-22 year old rookie vs being a 19 year old, but let’s say he spent 3-4 years in college. Would he be a better player right now in year two vs his current year five?
