Its repetitive and tastes the same. Greens, Mac n cheese, fried chicken, corn bread, and yams. Its the same no matter what resturant you go to.

Asians have Mongolian beef, Orange Chicken, fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, egg foo young, stir fry, teriyaki chicken, etc.

What we now know as soul food is purely an American invention, specifically FBADOS. That don't mean issa bad thing, matter of fact I like that our food ain't bein' picked apart in schools like... jazz and hip-hop... soul food is diverse within FBADOS culture, it's in a perfect place for us to elevate soul food as a reflection of our culture.
