Yeah you full of shyt and can’t be trusted…. If you would’ve just left it at authentic Chinese food then nikkas probably would have allowed it

Edit: just saw you got “Afro European” under your pic…. You might as well be cointelpro

Hes right. Soul food too repetitive. Asian food has too many options. I just gave everybody a solid argument.

If y'all had to strictly eat soul food vs Asian food you'd die of boredom.

I've been getting tired of soul food and its justified.

Its repetitive and tastes the same. Greens, Mac n cheese, fried chicken, corn bread, and yams. Its the same no matter what resturant you go to.

Asians have Mongolian beef, Orange Chicken, fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, egg foo young, stir fry, teriyaki chicken, etc.

You are talking about chinese food like it's limited to the hood chinese spots.
They have some of the largest and most diverse cuisines in the world. Every region has its own cuisine, it's like saying European food or African food.

What you are talking about is what some call "American Chinese cuisine".

:mjtf: My nikka, macaroni and cheese as we know it was invented at Monticello. What we now know as soul food was served on the tables of the richest plantation owners in the south, entertaining elites of the era. Whatsoever do you mean?
Mama, culinary institutions around the globe ain't teachin' upcomin' chefs to hook a mac & cheese in the soul food style. That was my point.
What we now know as soul food is purely an American invention, specifically FBADOS. That don't mean issa bad thing, matter of fact I like that our food ain't bein' picked apart in schools like... jazz and hip-hop... soul food is diverse within FBADOS culture, it's in a perfect place for us to elevate soul food as a reflection of our culture. Dig? We put our culture on the map, and they pick it up and run with it... and still drop it when they can't do it like us. C'mon...

:jbhmm::jbhmm::jbhmm:
I don't put my culture in conversations of comparison to make it seem like we got fire too, it's globally known what we about.
I just hope there come a time when we independently institutionalize our culture. You know what I'm on. All that other shyt irrelevant to me.
I'm tired of actin' like we gotta be like them after they dog us time and time again.

Asian cuisine is crazy.

Its hard to rank though.

Asian
Soul
Hispanic

Most of Europe seems trash outside of Italy.

This Negro got the Fleur De Lis and said this....

Our soul food got seafood in it:mjlol:
Other than fried chicken, pork ribs, and macaroni (homemade not that shyt out of the box) you can have the rest of that ish.

You have those collard greens, black eyed peas, hot water cornbread, candy yams, pig feet and the rest of that….

I ate so much of that growing up. I’ll eat it now on occasion, but it is never my first choice.

Creole is under the umbrella of soul food as a regionally distinct style.
If we 'bout to exclude creole, gimme back jazz and my Creole voodoo mamis.

Nobody thinks of Creole as soul food outside of Louisiana.

Crayfish and shrimp is not soul food. Go to any soul food restaurant and they handing you a plate of yams, greens, Mac n cheese, cornbread, and fried chicken.
