The Xbox 360 has to be the worst Console I've ever owned. Aside from the fact that it RROD on me twice and got little to no support from MS I also had to pay a £40 premium to play my games online

and for what? So I can chat to my friends easier?

I threw video gaming in the bushes for 2 years before buying my PS3 and it's the best decision I've ever made (in terms of gaming). Aside from being a genuine hub for a lot of my media it provides me with enough casual and hardcore titles to keep me satisfied. Not to mention the browser, Netflix streaming and specs are superior, those graphics on my TV are I don't pay a penny to play my games online. I heard Bungie dropped Halo as well which means you're playing an, "exclusive" made by 343 industries, a developer that's picked up a title for the first time. They've DESTROYED the combat system on that game. It's not been the same.

I played it and it's even more overrated than 3. Oh and the best shooter this gen was Modern Warfare 1. When it came out I remember no one even touched Halo 3 after on XBL. That game changed everything.

Halo 4 is okay. It's fun with people on here from time to time but there isn't any game this gen that will provide me with the fun that UC2 did.


The thing I'm mad about with Halo is(and this isn't just Halo) is the blatant shoehorning of COD-esque features.

Armor Abilities(They should'v been pickup based)
Specializations AKA Prestiges
Ordinance Drop AKA Score Streaks.

I'm not saying they should've just made Halo 3 over with shinier graphics but really all these gimmicks added to MP is just superficial imo and really aren't needed and at times interfere with the metagame.

Let's be reality here breh.

What other game at that time had MP that was as unique as Uncharted 2?? UC2 didn't invent things that were new per se, it effortlessly assimilated all these great and nimble mechanics into one cohesive experience that is matchless in execution and is laudable.

UC2 added a traversal system to the typical 3rd person shooter template and damn was it seamless. Not to mention it was a far cry from the over saturated sci-fi alien, military themed shooters out now.

Still to this day UC MP is unique and original. I don't care what anyone says about it being very simple and basic and that's what I loved about it. No bullshyt and superfluous additions etc. It had the standard bread and butter MP modes with Co-op and the visual fidelity was top notch? There was nothing like it. I played it for fun and could care less if I couldn't rank up any more or if I lost or won I just had FUN with it. Nowadays people lose sight of having fun and instead worry about which damn loadout is more effective, K/D ratio, W/L ratio, w/e.

That's the problem with current MP games. Every title that comes out feels like a tacked on "me too" experience that warrants little playtime. Typical COD dudebro sh1t hiding under umbrella terms and two button presses to win mechanics. Hardly any skill left in most MP games.

Uncharted 3 went that way in trying to appeal to a fanbase that really doesn't care about anything other than COD for more than 15 minutes.
Halo 4 is chugging along that path no matter how you choose to see it. It's still skill based for the most part but again it's match type and gametype specific. Regular Infinity Slayer is just casual bullsh1t. You could be doing good and then someone summons a fukking Binary Rifle from the sky and kills you.
Gears seem to be the only one so far that hasn't gone too crazy yet.




Gears 1 was nice too but I don't remember getting into the MP too much though I did use to run with some guys online back in the days. Gears 2 I didn't like . Gears 3 was dope but hardly anybody played it after a few months it dropped. So much for "community".

First mistake Nintendo should of named it anything other than Wii U... People think the system is a rehash of Wii not a completely new console. Secondly Nintendo should of made it where the Console could use more than one Super Dreamcast Controller. Then Nintendo should went with standard Blu-Ray because people want a Media machine now days not just Netflix rentals. Nintendo was in the position to make this a machine a Xbox8 PS-4 Killer, but went the low road and made it a better Wii.. The gimmick of playing off television screen isn't as appealing as waving a magic wand in 2012. Because you have phone gaming and Vita and DS.. So in order for Nintendo to pull this off they need to come with Hardcare games and Great Games that grab people because the gimmick toy won't work with this Box.
