Once there is a quick and cheap testing option available get ready to see those pop up in a lot of places. I also think you start seeing sanitation stations at large events, kinda like a car wash but for people.

I don’t think consumers will be ready to jump back “outside “ like people think, not until a vaccine is ready (imagine all the fukkery behind the vaccine), I think some people are going to elect to keep kids at home rather than give them the vaccine, a lot of people won’t have a choice, they’ll have to go back to work.

Everything from a corporate perspective will be to avoid responsibility and litigation from getting employees sick while at work.

Get ready to wear gloves and Mask on public transportation, airlines included.

Gyms won’t be open until for awhile

lol what war have you survived?:gucci:

As a society breh, we survived. Anyway, this too shall pass.

You’re completely out of touch. I work in finance and a lot of our clients are major corporations. Many corps and parent groups who OWN these restaurants you’re talking about are getting fukked by the moment. The collateral effect of this is insane. It’s not just the restaurants that are hurting, it’s their suppliers and vendors etc.

M&A activity and PE activity has been dwindling. You have no idea what you’re talking about and the ramifications. I’ve been on teleconferences, seen corporate documents of many large companies. shyt is going to be very bleak.

hint - look out for AMC going bankrupt

2008/2009 was doom and gloom and the strong businesses came out just fine. Once confidence is restored, expect a turnaround in May...

Like I said, there's gonna be a LOT of short term pain. But do you think AMC going bankrupt = all movie theaters will go out of business and never come back? You think the corona virus is the end of the movie industry? You are the one who is completely out of touch here. I hope you aren't representative of the typical finance head.

Anxiety attacks and sugar cookies
And coins, all that bullshyt.
At the base, "money" has to be removed from medicine and survival. Money isn't medicine. If you're in the wild, money won't help you survive. It's nothing. We need an economy that understands this and moves accordingly.

Wait I thought that's what made bartering so effective tho? You got something someone doesn't have (like meat, or other supplies) and they give you something in exchange, I'm pretty sure primative people did that in the wild which aided in survival? We can't have an economy if there's nothing of value to be gained, cause then what's the point of even working? I think you're mainly talking about fiat money, which is completely useless

When did I say that? AMC bankrupt means a lot of lost jobs. Do you think new conglomerates will just open up with the snap of a finger? Potential businesses will be reluctant to open up shop for quite some time since a lot of people won’t have any money. The entire movie industry may change, you might start seeing more drive in theaters.

dude you’re out of touch and don’t spread your bs to other people. You’re literally spreading bad information and it’s dangerous.

So you think this is the end of the global economy? There's no path to recovery from this?
Again, did I say that? You nikkas lack reading comprehension. You dumb mfs that think the economy will turn around in less than 6 weeks are idiots. You do realize we haven’t reached the peak with this right?

Fiat currency is no more or less useless than hard currency. All currency depends on people's belief in its value. If fiat currency was useless the US dollar wouldn't have remained the world's top reserve currency for decades :yeshrug: A lump of gold doesn't have much more intrinsic value than a piece of paper or a number on a digital ledger for most people.

Yes, like I said, there's going to be some short term pain................. but at the end of the day, if you believe there is a path to recovery then in the long term it's irrelevant. Things prob won't be exactly the way they are now, but unless you think the bulk of global industry will never bounce back we are just arguing semantics.
