Love them or hate them, Uruguay play with passion. They tend to optimize the talent-level of the players at their disposal. They seem to have some fierce national pride that translates to how they perform on the pitch.

A country of 3m people should not be producing this type of quality talent or playing at this level. They've produced players like Suarez, Cavani, Forlan, Recoba etc over the years. We haven't produced another player on the level of Okocha and we are 200m strong. You can also see that our players don't play with as much passion.

Even the Uruguayan fans are well travelled. They make their presence felt in the stadium for such a tiny country. What I saw yesterday was crazy. They are hard to beat because they defend from the front. Suarez and Cavani were trying to put in TACKLES. Cavani was tracking back into midfield time and time again.

France may have more top level talent, but they need to go out and play a complete and energetic 90 min game if they are going to beat this Uruguay team.

Thank You, Someone watching the game instead of these "analysts" like Taylor Twellman who said France will win because they have more talent. Such a lazy American analysis. :pacspit:

Uruguay working they're ass off in this world cup. Very tough to break down. They gave up their only goal on a nice setup play from a short corner kick. France like the counter play, shyt isn't going to against Uruguay. I could definitely see this going 0-0 or 1-1 to pens.

2022 should be only about making it to World Cup and play well in the Group stages. Making it to the knockout rounds will be plus.

Agreed 2026 should be US chance. Qatar bribing 2022 is actually blessing for the US.

Missing the World Cup will actually help the youngsters developed with their clubs. 4 boys at Schalke, Weah at PSG, Cameron-Vickers at Spurs, I think we got one at Benfica. If they grow they will get some PT.

Parks.

Schalke are a good development team, but they never win shyt and inconsistent. Schalke have a ceiling, everyone leaves them to get better. Meyer and Leon this year. Draxler and Leroy summers previous, Ozil too.

Weah and CCV are in better situation, while playing time is limited at present, they do get to train with some of the best in their positions. But if they not playing regularly by 2020 then they need to move on.

On top of that we acting like Uruguay doesn't have two trans-formative strikers. Suarez and Cavani put the team on their backs...while asking Jimenez and Godin to keep the back organized. With those 4...it will NOT be an easy win for France.

also we not going to talk about my boy Bentancur who should be the favorite to win the young best player at the WC?:comeon:

told you brehs about him in the other thread 2-3 years ago and as usual you brehs dont follow up, the same with Torreira who now got a deal with wack ass Arsenal:mjcry:

all these younger players played in finals/semi finals in the last 3/4 u20 world cups so these brehs are used to winning/competing like Bentan,Laxalt,Nandes, Guillermo Varela and Valverde who our dumbass coach didnt take:scust:

In the same context as when Luis Aragones said it.
its the last time I translate shyt for nikkas in here bro because it seems they dont understand. In Spanish calling somebody negro or negrito is not racist it just means black or negrito is used more for young black/morenito.

so if you see that word being used alone it means that but if they add stuff like de mierda then yes thats a racist statement.

also is very common in Uruguay/Argentina to refer to people by their looks(flaco/gordo/diente) hence why most players have animal names as their nickname like Burrito/donkey Ortega, Pulga/Flea Messi

Yea in portuguese as well, negro means black, or actually dark-skinned, so you say someone is negro..nothing wrong with that, but calling someone black (preto) is derogatory and looked down upon.
