They are a pass merchant team. With very little end product. As the tournament has worn on, their passing in the final 3rd had been poo.

They aren't, they are direct, they hit long passes, they run at defenders and run with the ball. Croatia are an exciting and dynamic team who play football as it should be played. Modric alone is better than the entire English XI, he has been running the show this tournament like Zidane 2006.

The Russians were very direct across the game, especially the first half. And one of those goals was a header from a corner so it's not like they cut up through them

Rakitic and Modric been the best midfield pair in this tournament. Period. I think this match won't be the walk in the park the English are posturing it to be. Even if they come out with a win it won't be an easy one.


Even still I think the winner of France/Belgium is the winner of the WC.
