And Lukaku as the best striker in the world, I could think of a few who I would rather have in my team than him. Suarez, Aguero, Kane, Costa, Firmino
Yeah he will score you 20+ goals a season but so will all of the ones I've mentioned and none of them has a shocking first touch, really bad hold up play and can all make a simple pass. All things Lukaku struggles with when you watch him week in week out in the premier league

I would say judging players in the most important tournament is a pretty good place to start. Its like judging NBA players by what they do in the playoffs or finals than the regular season.
FTR the list of players you listed as better strikers than Lukaku is laughable. Especially the cac Kane that can't even dribble the ball or go at defenders. He only scores on penalties or set pieces. Very embrassing IMO.
Lukaku showed more against Brazil than Kane has done in his life.
