Nigeria's gameplan will be interesting. Do they start out quick, try and get an early goal to heap more pressure on already mentally fragile team, so they can hit on the counter. Or they do expect a bombardment from the off, try and hold their shape, cut the spaces, play on the counter.

When a Nigerian player comes to close down and tackle, I fully expect Argentina to be on with the flopping

My first take is that the midfield is a bit too defensive. Denmark will be coming strong as they can still top the group.

@Montez is right about the quality of this tournament.

It doesn't touch the 94, 98 and 2006 tournaments.

We aren't seeing amazing performances outside of CDot vs Spain and Xhaka versus the Serbs.

No young players really stepping up and while attacking play is awesome and I love not seeing 0-0 matches, we are seeing lack of CMs, strikers, and centerbacks. The sport has been trending that way for a while.

The quality of the sport is declining even though this tournament has been amazing entertainment wise.

IDGAF Griezmann is no #10 or wide man, it's a classic 442, 2 wingers who can cross a ball, the tall lad upfront, SS to link up play and 2 man CM who can tackle and can drive forward.

I just need Peru to score a goal, I won't be greedy ask for a win (even though they should beat Australia). One of the best moments was watching the Panamanians celebrating their first goal ever in the World Cup. I need that for Peru.

Its commom sense that those WCs were loaded with legends and star power compared to 2018 so why even bring it up? Why not just enjoy a much more ENTERTAINING tourney?
