You my breh, but I can’t agree. Which World Cup had a better group stage? Four straight days of top class entertainment.

The 2014 tournament is my personal favorite.

Spain getting thrashed, Costa Rica giving Italy and Uruguay the business, Messi and Musa putting on a show.

Then the knockout stage fukkery. Robben diving to take out Mexico, Algeria giving Germany the business, Tim Howard with the golden hands, Brazil getting thrashed at home

I understand why some may prefer this world cup though.

06 was great round of 16 onwards. Group stage wasn’t memorable.

In hindsight yes, although my favourite was 94 as it was the super eagles 1st world cup and we had a great team then. 90 was because it was my intro football and to the divine ponytail. My favourite player then who turned to be my heartbreaker in 94.

98 was also my favorite but for sentimental reasons since it was Jamaica’s 1st appearance in the World Cup and I was still in Jamaica to witness the magic. Zidane wrekt Brazil in the Final.
