This World Cup is wild. The gap between decent teams and legit contenders seems minimal.

That means that it's time for Senegal or Nigeria to go on a run and win it all in a weak year for the typical powers.

So far this is the best world cup I've seen since Italia 90.

By most accounts, Italia 90 was the worst world cup ever, quality wise.

06 was great round of 16 onwards. Group stage wasn’t memorable.

Was talking to one of my boys about the group stages, we compared it to 2010 and I can't even remember a memorable game from the 2010 group stages. First game, first goal for South Africa maybe? The African teams all stunk it up except for Ghana. Best match of that WC was Ghana v. Uruguay, and even that ended with Gyan shytting the bed.

It was trash. Maybe coz I was revising for exams them times and didn't pay attention to it as much.

I fukk with 98 hard coz I remember it so much and enjoyed it. Bergkamp's goal...Beckham red card v Argentina and becoming the most hated man in England for years...Ronaldo R9 in the cut that and every team being ...the rumours on the street that he was poisoned prior to the final...Owen exploding on the scene with that goal v the Argies...Zizou final...shyt was lit

Lol I didn't get to watch the match. I'll take your word for it. But from the last two KSA matches I watched (German friendly and Russia)..they were basura.

Quiet that noise fam. In terms of quality there have been better world cups. A lot of these teams are trash.

France is poorly coached. Brazil are Neymar dominant. Argentina are horrible. German don’t have a striker and play slow. Portugal are Portugal. England can’t score from open play. Spain have been meh. Russia, Saudi, Egypt, Poland, Panama all lack quality.

Group B has fun.

So u rather see germany moonwalk they ass to another WC final because u want dominant quality from these big nations?

If u want quality, look at colombia their last game. This tourney is by far the best i have seen because the quality is equal and unpredictable. fukk having brazil vs spain or germany vs brazil every fukking 4 years. Im glad they arent dominating. Makes shyt much better. And i dunno about u but therea been plenty of quality play.
