German team just lacks motivation.
And historically Germany almost never wins the second group game, guess it's a wrap for them :yeshrug:

And why isn't Goretzka playing? :stopitslime:

Everything seems setup for a Brazil or Portugal triumph
We sleeping on Belgium? :sas2:

Yeah a potentially talented Brazil team that can turn it on <Serbia.
This Brazil is not scary. Mexico has shown that they can go toe to toe with the big teams. They did it in 2014 against Brazil. They embarrassed Croatia and almost beat Netherlands but like always they started playing it safe :beli:

I’m only scared of Belgium and Croatia.

And Argentina because even if they’re shyt, they have our number :wow:

Also I hope we go back to having proper CM's again. Tired of these jack of all trades, masters of none CM's, that's all over the game.

Game is also littered with too many attacking mids, who literally do fukk all, barring a few things here and there.
Box to box cms are the modern futbol way tho :manny: hella teams nowadays have all 10 non goalie players defending in the box.. so it's really tough to score via possession unless you have insane pedigree like Spain or a huge difference in class.

a lot of teams will gladly give up possession get a score on a counter or two and then play counter all day.

I mean, I love defense in any game and I played a right fullback myself in soccer, but the way modern defense evolved athletically calls for almost all the players of any position being jack of all trades... the only exceptions are the very few superstars who simply are too good to be stopped

You can't blame Germany. There is no motivation. The core of this team have already won it.

Jerome and Rudiger almost playing as CMs. And that Kimmich kid is just being a liability, thinking he's a right back Messi :snoop:
This slow ass Swedish side catching you on the counter :deadmanny:
Can't believe people called kimmich Lahm's successor :scust:
