I was waiting for Ighalo to rip off his mask and reveal himself to be Yakubu like a Scooby-Doo episode.

This is one thing with foreign coaches:

The job is just a stepping stone for them. They don't have their heart in the team because it's not their country their managing.

But with Nigeria if you go with a Nigerian coach then you get all of the BS politics that come with it. You go with a foreign coach then you get situations like this, keeping Iwobi on the bench until the 90th minute. Playing for a draw when Argentina smells blood in the water.

Anyway, I'm just looking forward to 2022 now :yeshrug:

It depends. Ghana for example , we had our best showing with foreign coaches, we tried with a local coach in 2014 and the players and the FA sabotaged him(collecting bribes for players to be selected and shyt).
Idk, the players seem to respect the foreign coaches more. Till we all change our mentalities we all won't do shyt at the tournament :francis:

Disgraceful group, only team worthy of being in the last 16 is Croatia. Nigeria's coach was tactically clueless, the first game vs Croatia was enough to make one see this. Senegal and Morocco the best African teams in this competition, put them in this group or Egypt's and they are qualifying easily.
