Belgium-England is going to be interesting because the 2nd place team goes to the Spain/Russia/Croatia/Sweden bracket and the winner goes to the France/Portugal/Argentina/Uruguay/Brazil bracket.

It may be better to finish 2nd than 1st.

Hindsight is a great thing
:beli:

No one was saying for all these years up until this month that they need an out and out winger like Sane.

He doesn't fit into Lows system and prior to a few weeks ago it was great and successful, without him.

Was plain as day in the games Sane played he doesn't fit.

Now going forward he may feature and the system will change. But at time of descion it was perfectly understamable.

fukk Lowes system. Sanes numbers last season were incredible for a young player, especially playing in a competitive league. No way in hell is Julian Brandt better at taking on players than Sane. Germany SORELY lacked a player to go at defenders and create spaces for everyone else. I think they thought Reus was that guy but he's perpetually injured. A player of Sanes talents and potential you have to take to the World Cup. Even if you don't play him, he's a brighter prospect than Brandt and you want him to know the FA is behind him.

Breh....Brazil could possibly go out...if there was a year for CR7 or Messi this is the one...only problem is they play Uruguay and France respectively...

I personally think POR/URU is a push...but FRA/ARG :laff: Messi better hit some of that Perico with Maradona
Absolutely. If there was ever a time for Ronaldo or Messi to solidify their greatness, now is the time .

For some reason I can't shake the idea of Croatia making a deep run in this. They got Denmark and if they win they got Spain/Russia. And Spain been highly questionable.

This may be shaping up to be one of the GOAT world cups .

:ohhh:
