I'll admit on second and third viewing of that "headbutt" it wasn't accidental. The ref is gonna be coming after them now in this second half.

I hate how biases Fox is right now:scust:. At least get someone on there who will be pro-Colombian to balance out all the English deepthroating.

This may be the best England team I've seen in recent memory. I'm talking better than the Lampard, Gerrard, Rooney, Ferdinand, Terry et al generation. They are more team-oriented and play a very fluid brand of football. They are strong on the ground, strong in the air and quality at the set pieces. That said, their defense has not been tested whatsoever in this game. Colombia has looked nervy and lacking ideas.

This game though is on a knife edge. When you are in the ascendancy (especially against a team that has played as poorly as Colombia has) you need to capitalize. I can see a 1-0 winning this game for either side. One team is probably going win off of the other team's mistake.

It isn't hard when the coaches have a hard on for trying to fit squares into round holes by trying to fit in the names into the starting line up, instead of the best team.

England actually have less unlikeable players in their team than previous years with Beckham, Terry etc

It’s the commentators I can’t stand

I was about to support them too till I heard fans sing:

“God save the queen”

“Rule Britannia, rule the waves, we will never be slaves” :francis:

And just like that I’m reminded of what kind of people they are

I agree actually. Its hard to hate this team :patrice:

Come on breh...let's not act like SA players esp Uruguay, Colombia etc don't have a rep for being ill-discliplned. They're in the QF and they're really risking a red card over that BS. Breh doing sneak headbutts and pulling like it's the 80s. That era gone fam..

I think Henderson provoked him but you can't be lashing out like that. England learned their lesson with Beckham lashing out against Simone in 98. I don't anything anything similar happened since. They were ready to lynch him from a lamppost.

Brits were salty as fukk :russ:

England media love having a drama filled story and something they can blame their loss on besides their performance.

I read awhile back that another big reason they weren't able to win anything is because during the late 90's and early 2000's all that anomisity from the Prem Rivalry really spread into the National team locker room and they admitted that alot of them avoided even talking to each other and really affected the Chemistry
