and the alternative (AEW) is consistently declining and will be lucky to stay above 500k viewers by this time next month. The reality is pro-wrestling is a niche market. The days of 5-10 million people watching on a weekly basis are gone and will never come back.

That doesn’t mean doom and gloom however.

WWE will always maintain millions of fans. The WWE Network is really the best way to determine how many paying fans they actually have and that number is around 2 million.

The alternative, AEW, will be fine as long as they get some real leadership backstage running the show and less smart mark wrestlers calling the shots. They don’t have a high paying TV deal, but TNT covers the cost of production (which is rumored around $400,000 per week). As long as they can stay above that 500k mark, they should be just fine with TNT.

You got that 100% correct actually

He was a face feuding with Sami Zayn with some bogus ass storyline with his sisters

Now got him doing this nonsense with Lana no one wants to see

AEW is getting 1.4 million viewers on DVR and just sold out a PPV. It's not a doom and gloom

despite all of that, you could multiply this list by 4 and that would be the flat out trash stuff they’ve done since 2003, starting with handing the WHC to HHH. The WWE has spent more than 10 years pushing a mediocre to flat out shyt product, and even had the nerve to run with an “if you don’t like it, don’t watch” mantra, and that’s exactly what gradually started to happen. The WWE needs a complete tear down approach to really get back where they need to be. Their whole approach is extremely dated. It’s simply not “cool” to be attached to the WWE anymore. People finally got tired of that trash, myself included.

shyt storylines and flooding their own market with too much content of the same shyt. This has nothing to do with the wrestling fan. Most who arent going to watch moved on. They need to keep the ones they have happy and theyre not capable of this with Vince at the helm.
