Crazy how Microsoft dropped one of the GOAT consoles and just completely fell off .

Maybe it’s because this was the first console generation transition I was conscious for (I was born in 94) but this gen was the most next-generation that a console leap has ever felt. The amount of tech that was packed into the three consoles was insane.

Went home and fired up madden 06, with Mcnabb on the cover. I had the console laying down and wanted to see it standing up so I did it with the disk in. Loud ass scratching noise…and then the game didn’t work.
I had to wait until the next day to go get another copy. That had to be the longest night of my life.

One of the GOAT consoles. The best controller of all time, Xbox Live, Achievements, prime COD, the timed exclusives/dlc, Gears 1-3, Halo 3-ODST, Ninja Gaiden 2, DOA 4-5, Lost Odyssey, Dead Rising, Xbox Arcade, Party Chat, and better optimized multiplats than the PS3.
