Sadly, Xbox 360 was the last goat Xbox gaming console. One of my top consoles of all time.

I blame upper mgmt they literally bodied their own company at that E3....

Our modern console experience was almost entirely defined by the Xbox 360. Gametags that persist between games, cross game invites and chat, unified online service and store, achievements, console running apps, packed in wireless controller and hard drive.

Xbox 360 era was one of the best due to their red ring of death and modding. I used to fix them bytches for $75 a pop and made mad money off craigslist/ebay buying them for cheap and reselling.

How could you leave out Windows Media Center? That was one of the long lost features that you did not know how great it was until you used it. That and Party Chat was was ahead of its time. Plus the 360 was that first and only console to purge gamertags. That also was definitely a game changer. Playstation said it was too hard for them to purge IDs, that is why they never did it
Glad you acknowledged that. That's why 360 is one of the greatest consoles of all time and won that gen.

Remember when this shyt dropped my sophomore year of college.
Had some friends that shared an on-campus apartment and we would all drop by in between classes to hang out and play Madden. Something told me not to get the console...ended up being right when RROD hit all of em. Everyone I knew that gamed had 360 and errlast one had to get their console replaced/fixed at least 2x.
Still that 360 experience with friends was fun as fukk.
All of us remembered SNES vs Sega but that was more our big brothers battle. N64 had some good shyt like Goldeneye but Playstation won that gen going away. PS2 was hella dominant so 360 doing it's thing in '05/06 was a change of pace frfr. That was the default console for a minute.
