Like I said in the other thread, add reaction videos and a big chunk of YouTube goes down.

At least with reaction videos there's actual effort, but they need to eliminate reaction videos to songs. A 3min song shouldn't be a 40min video, all because people keep pausing and commenting after every damn line.

I'd imagine theres some kind of tech that detects whats AI no matter how good it sounds. I think its spooky for anybody on that Iverson train

The thing is I thought ppl were paid because their content generate revenue and clicks. It’s not like they’re salary it’s basically comission. They only get paid if they produce money and YouTube gets a cut.

If that’s the case why does the type of content matter as long as ppl are watching?

because it is low quality, a fad and crowds out quality programming .

you want viewers to interact with high quality for the long term health of you tube.

you want people to be motivated to make the effort to make quality vids.

that's not gonna happen if AI slop is eating up the views.

and AI slop brings down the quality of youtube overall.

The AI voices are too monotone, speaking words perfectly, no air breaks in between so you can tell its AI.

exactly, essentially if you put in effort, you will be rewarded, using AI or not. It's the low effort, churn and burn that is getting thrown in the bushes and good riddance


I could start an ai channel tomorrow called "The Coli Brought to Life' and take all the content from over the years here, ai generated videos, voice overs and images.....................it would just need to have unique perspectives.
